The Situation:
Thousands of Military Veterans are recovering from wounds, both mental and physical, received during the longest period of war in the history of the United States. Still many more heroes suffer in silence, their wounds left untreated, while Veteran suicide rates continue to rise. As the conflicts draw on and evolve, so too does the attention of the American People, at times forgetting the sacrifices made by our Military Veterans on the field of battle for causes and conflicts not easily recognized by all.
There exists another conflict. One that has gone on for far longer than those of our recent history, and one with many more casualties. In a global war between greed and the preservation of our planet’s most iconic wildlife from the threat of extinction, the animals are losing. Criminals are poaching these beautiful creatures to the brink of annihilation in order to provide for an ever-present demand on the black market, and many habitat countries lack the willingness, legal framework, or resources to stop it.

The United States Military trains service members in hundreds of military occupations and maintains a high degree of proficiency and effectiveness through continual instruction, frequent practical application, and deployment. From engineers to intelligence officers, police officers to mechanics, logistics specialists to aviators, and many more specialties, the military provides the very best with the very best. These skilled and dedicated volunteers carry this profound knowledge, considerable abilities, and tremendous experiences with them into the civilian workforce upon their discharge. In addition, these men and women possess a sense of duty and dedication not often found outside uniformed service.
Assess, Assist, and Advise. Resolute Conservation will form special all-volunteer teams with particular functional expertise in a variety of occupations to deploy anywhere around the globe and collaborate with those serving to protect wildlife. Through interactive assessment, these teams will assist and advise conservation workers in tactics, techniques, procedures, and best practices that they may employ to enhance capabilities and conduct their honorable work protecting our natural world. These teams can also assess and direct donated equipment to those who need it.
